At least four injured after lightning strike within 10 meters of White House

At least four people have been injured by the impact of a lightning strike that has fallen Thursday just over ten meters from the White House in Washington, United States.

Around 19.20 (local time) lightning has struck in Lafayette Square Park, ten and a half meters from the White House, as reported by the Washington Fire Department on its Twitter account.

The injured, two men and two women, have received immediate medical assistance from the U.S. Secret Service and the U.S. Park Police. All of them are in critical condition, so they have been transferred to nearby hospitals, reported ‘The Washington Post’.
