Starting on Thursday, March 7, Lidl stores will be able to find two devices, Parkside brand, useful in workshops.
A column drill, which can be used for drilling in wood, metal and plastic, will cost 499 lei. The drilling depth can be adjusted and the device has a switch with protection for starting. The rotation speed of the drill can be adjusted in five steps, in the range of 600 – 2,650 rpm.
The drilling stroke offered by the drill is a maximum of 5 cm. For extra protection, the drill has a clear plastic mask.
The device has a power of 400 W, B16 type chuck (1.5 – 13 mm), and the drilling table can be tilted from -45 degrees to +45 degrees. The power cord is 3 m long.
The drill will benefit from a 3-year warranty.

At the same time, Lidl will sell a plasma cutting machine, at the price of 799 lei. The device can be used for precise cutting in materials up to 12 mm thick. The device can be used for cutting: sheet steel, alloys, aluminum, copper or iron. The system is equipped with a 2 m pneumatic hose with quick connection system. The power cord is 2 m long.

The cutting capacity is as follows, depending on the material: 1-4 mm thick copper, 1-8 mm steel, 1-8 mm aluminum, 1-10 mm iron and 1-12 mm steel sheet. Various accessories are included in the package.
The advantage of such a device is that it offers a better cut without distortion.
A German-style hobby set of antistatic tweezers, which includes 10 pieces, will also be available in German retail stores from Thursday, April 7th.
