Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Launch Trailer shows several bad guys – That’s Gaming

The launch trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games is here, just days before launch. It sees Miles Morales enlisting the help of Peter Parker to take on various villains, some familiar and some new. Check it out below, but beware of possible spoilers.

In addition to confirming the return of Mister Negative, Sandman also appears, looking huge (and making for an epic set piece). Quite a bit of the trailer also shows Peter possessed by the Symbiote and lashing out at his friends. There is also a lot of Venom, who looks pretty terrifying, but even with all the new additions, the sequel will be about the same length as the first game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming out on Oct. 20 for PS5. It is now available to pre-load, and Insomniac recently revealed two new suits that will be available in the game – Brooklyn 2099 and Kumo.
