At least four journalists have been killed on Thursday night in an armed attack in Ciudad Juarez, in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, local authorities have reported.
According to witnesses on the scene at the time of the attack, a group of armed individuals arrived at a parking lot where a portable station of Mexican radio station Megaradio was located with four journalists who were broadcasting at the time, ‘El Universal’ has reported.
The attackers first shot at a pizzeria in front of the radio station’s employees and then fired at the journalists.
The journalists were conducting a link-up to give away pizzas from a Mexican chain to listeners, according to ‘El Sol de Mexico’.
These murders add up to 14 in just one day in the Mexican city, since during the day on Thursday there have been different attacks in various parts of the city against civilians.
