Zombie Uprising slashes, stabs and punches on PC and consoles – That’s Gaming

D3Publisher along with developer LANCARSE today launched their zombie-archived survival-rogue-style action title Ed-0: Zombie Uprising for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Originally in Early Access on Steam from April 2022, the full global launch of the game comes with numerous new content additions and updates, resulting in more than 100 gameplay hours.

Designed for relentless strategic combat in a rogue-like format, Ed-0: Zombie Uprising takes place in a fictional Edo-era Japan, where hordes of hungry zombies have invaded the isolated land. No two runs in a dungeon will be the same, so players’ judgment will be paramount as they face “once-in-a-lifetime” challenges with a wide range of random elements amidst dangerous enemies. Ed-0: Zombie Uprising features various undead enemies ranging from “newly interpreted” Japanese zombies to foreign invaders born after the “Zombie Industrial Revolution.” Players will unlock more as they play (and succeed) with an increasing number of options to customize builds to their liking – with the ability to crank up the difficulty to test one’s ability.

The launch of Ed-0: Zombie Uprising adds an array of new content, including the Ninja as a playable character, five new levels and additional challenge stages and side missions, new bosses and types of enemies, boons, in-game events, additional character build options and more. With the release of version 1.0, D3PUBLISHER also took the time to answer community feedback and implement quality of life updates to create a better overall gameplay experience. The team improved the overall rogue-like and action elements, enhanced the utility of Charms, Secret Arts and items, and added new difficulty levels (+Hard, Hell and Edo) to give players even more flexibility in how they play. Finally, the team added an “EDO Shader” option that adds a fun twist to the visual style.
