The beta from Legends of the Mara (LotM) will be released in September. Designed by Yuga Labsthe entertainment at 2D is part of his metaverse broader Otherside.
Thursday on X, the NFT nugget Yuga Labs has announced the imminent release of its highly anticipated game Legends of the Mara (LotM) in version beta. The creator of NFT’s Bored Ape Yacht Club says it has teamed up with the American video game studio Faraway as part of the development of LotM.
It’s a great time, Travelers. It’s time to learn more about the powers of your Otherdeed and earn rewards that will come into play in future LotM expansions. This chapter of LotM will evolve over the coming months and more features will be discovered as we approach full launch,” Yuga Labs tweeted.
Announced earlier this year, Legends of The Mara will be released in beta in September and is presented as an “autonomous experiment” fuelled by ApeCointhe native token of the BAYC.
Unlike the 3D universe ofOthersidethe game is built in two dimensions (2D). Virtual land holders Otherdeedswhich sold at full price in spring 2022, will receive a new NFT, according to the announcement.

This summer, Yuga Lab acquired Roar Studios to accelerate development of Otherside. The Spanish studio’s founder has since taken the reins of the Otherside project.
The price of tokens BAYC of the American startup, valued at $4 billion last year, has collapsed over the last 12 months.
