Video game publisher EA SPORTS and the television company Warner Bros. Discovery Sports launches a docuseries special of the Madden NFL 24 Championship Series (MCS 24). The docuseries, titled “The Road to a Madden Millionaire.”follows the trajectory of Henry Leverette, professional Madden NFL player. The project is part of a ongoing partnership between MCS and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports.
The series consists of. four weekly episodes and kicks off today, January 22. The series features the story of Madden NFL’s most decorated athlete during the 24 MCS. After losing the Ultimate Madden Bowl last year, Leverette returns to once again qualify for the biggest event of the season and become the first to reach $1M in winnings.
Warner Bros. Discovery Sports offers sports content across multiple platforms. The company has previously worked with several esports stakeholders including. BLAST and the developer of Mortal Kombat, NeatherRealm Studios.
The Madden NFL 24 Championship Series is organized by Electronic Arts (EA). EA’s list of video games includes titles such as. EA SPORTS FC, Battlefield and Apex Legends. The season MCS 24 features six live events and a prize pool of $1.7M.
Throughout 2023, EA carried out numerous collaborations and activations to strengthen the position of its sports simulation titles in the eSports sector. In particular, EA SPORTS introduced a revamped esports ecosystem for the rebranded version of FIFA, EA SPORTS FC. The new global circuit includes the FC Pro Open and Pro Leagues competitions.
