Vodafone to launch NFT collection on Cardano

Vodaphone Germany plans to launch a NFT collection on Cardano by the end of the year. Visit tokens will offer a ” real utility “and benefits at customers of the telephone operator.

On its discord, the German branch of the British multinational Vodaphone has confirmed the upcoming launch of a NFT collection on the Cardano blockchain. Earlier this week, Vodaphone Germany had published a mysterious tweet evoking the NFT on Cardano and giving way to rumors.

Yes, we are planning to release an NFT collection this year and would like to use the Cardano blockchain,” a company spokesperson announced on Discord on Wednesday, adding that the project was still in its early stages.

The mobile operator explained that it had selected the network Cardano for his community and the possibilities offered in terms of cross-chains.

” Ne’re focused on creating NFTs that offer real utility to Vodafone customers,” added the moderator.

Although the benefits of NFT will initially be available only to German Vodaphone customers, the company intends to find solutions to include all members of its “international community”.
