Netflix has released an online trailer featuring 19 of the upcoming movies and TV series to be released this year.

Originally launched in 1997 as a mail-order DVD rental service, Netflix has finally evolved into a streaming service that is now out of competition in terms of total subscribers. , including Disney +, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, and more.

The giant is also a pioneer in its field when it comes to original content. The first original streaming movie series, Lilyhammer, was released in 2013, followed by their first feature film, Beasts of No Nation, in 2015.

Netflix is ​​currently hosting hundreds of their own series and movies, and new seasons of Cobra Kai, The Witcher, You, Sex Education were released last year, and Squid Game and Sweet Tooth also debuted.

On the film side, the Red Notice comedy broke all viewing records, while two original Netflix films, Don’t Look Up and The Power of the Dog, were nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.

In anticipation of Geeked Week, a special Netflix event, the streamer has released a new trailer featuring the following list of movies and series for the current year.

At the head of the collection are Stranger Things, with season 4, The Umbrella Academy, with season 3 and Sweet Tooth, with season 2. We also see mentions of other productions such as The Gray Man or The Sandman.

This will be Netflix’s second Geeked Week event, which will run virtually for five days and will appeal to fans who prefer “smart” productions. The event will include exclusive news or sneak peaks.

Geeked Week is scheduled for June 6-10, although Netflix is ​​trying to get you into “action” a little earlier.
