VIDEO That ’90s Show comes to continue the story of That ’70s Show: when you can see it on Netflix

The new official trailer for That ’90s Show reveals the return of the main cast for the first time in years since That ’70s Show ended.

The series, which will be available to watch on Netflix starting January 19, 2023, is a sequel to That ’70s Show, which aired on Fox from 1998 to 2006.

It will follow the story of teenager Leia Forman (Callie Haverda) as she spends the summer vacation of 1995 with her grandparents Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) and Red (Kurtwood Smith) and befriends some of the neighborhood kids.

The cast also includes Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi and Sam Morelos, along with veterans Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama, who will only appear as special guests, unfortunately.

Kitty and Red, central characters in That ’90s Show

So far, trailers for That ’90s Show have only revealed the return of Kitty and Red, delaying revealing any of the main characters.

Unfortunately for fans who are curious about the return of Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart, there is only a brief glimpse of them in the trailer, but that doesn’t say much. However, there’s a strong possibility that they live in Point Place themselves, and we also know that they have a child, Fez, who looks as local as it gets.

Aside from Fez, the characters you can see in the trailer for the comedy That ’90s Show also include Eric and Donna who remain unchanged, as you can see.

Clearly, the fact that the couple’s daughter is named Leia shows that his passion for Star Wars has also remained unchanged over the years.

As far as can be seen in the clip, they have moved to Chicago, though other details about this are unknown. What is clear (or so we hope) is that the two are still together.

It remains to be seen, however, if That ’90s Show will manage to be as good as its predecessor. Not to say otherwise, but you know how it is with “reheated soup”.
