Friends guest star Reese Witherspoon shares a funny video recreating a memorable scene from the iconic sitcom with Jennifer Aniston.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon recreate a memorable moment from Friends in a new video. During its run, the iconic NBC sitcom had a host of special guests. Whether it was Julia Roberts or Brad Pitt stopped by to have a scene with Rachel Green (Aniston), the show has earned a reputation for its ability to attract top actors. This was especially true when the show went out of its way to bring a relative of one of the six main characters to the set.

Witherspoon, joining Friends season 6 as Rachel’s younger sister Jill, had one of the show’s best scenes. Although she only appeared in two episodes, Jill came into the frame with a lot of energy, and the two sisters had chemistry on set. Hilariously, as is often the case with Friends, the sitcom occasionally scored Ross and Rachel’s complicated history for a bit of drama.

So, in a video posted on Instagram, Witherspoon recreated a memorable scene of Jill and Rachel. The two actresses, who currently star together on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show, recreated the moment when Rachel told Jill she “can’t have Ross.” In her response, Jill is outraged, and the actress performs just like she did in the 1990s. The clip is reminiscent of one of the recurring aspects of HBO Max’s Friends reunion, which featured Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, Perry, LeBlanc and Schwimmer reading scripts from some of the comedy’s most brilliant moments, which relied on ensemble interaction. There, as in the clip above, the actors took a brief moment to return to the cradle of their old portraits. But in both cases, their passion and desire to revisit the work they created is clearly admirable.

Famed actresses Aniston and Witherspoon have always had incredibly strong acting chemistry on set. This is also evident in The Morning Show.
