VIDEO Don Johnson returns to the big screen in High Heat: the official trailer has been released, when do you see the film in cinemas

High Heat stars Olga Kurylenko, best known for Marvel Studios’ Quantum of Solace and Black Widow. She is joined by Don Johnson, best known for playing James “Sonny” Crockett in Miami Vice and most recently for his role in Knives Out.

Directed by Zach Golden, “responsible” for The Escape of Prisoner 614, and based on a screenplay by James Pedersen, High Heat will arrive in theaters in digital and “on demand” formats beginning December 16.

High Heat tells the story of Ana (Kurylenko), a successful chef and restaurateur who is hiding a big secret about her past. When the local mob targets her restaurant to collect a debt owed by her husband Ray (Don Johnson), Ana must use her skills as a former KGB agent to protect her business.

What you can see in the first trailer for High Heat

Screen Rant has exclusively released the first official trailer for High Heat. From the trailer we see that Ana’s restaurant is a hit and the tables are always full. Unfortunately for her, she has no idea that her husband has racked up debt and put her business out of business.

As the trailer suggests, every marriage has secrets, and this one doesn’t make a discordant note.

Saban Films picked up worldwide distribution rights to High Heat earlier this year, negotiated by Jonathan Saba, along with Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman of Yale Entertainment.

The duo of Beckerman and Levine have produced a significant collection of films for Yale Entertainment, including the recently released Gasoline Alley, starring Devon Sawa and Bruce Willis in the lead roles, as well as Panama, starring Mel Gibson.

Meanwhile, Saban Films continues its mission to provide quality content in recent films such as American Carnage and even Dig.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether High Heat will attract the right audience in theaters and, more importantly, what fate will befall Ana’s husband in the end: whether the mob kills him or his wife.
