Ukraine reports the sinking of another Russian ship in the Black Sea

MADRID, May 8. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have reported this Sunday the sinking of another Russian ship in the Black Sea, an amphibious landing ship that would have received an attack from a projectile launched from a Ukrainian drone.

“A Ukrainian Bairaktar TB2 has destroyed another Russian ship. This time it is a landing ship of the ‘Serna’ project. The traditional parade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on May 9 this year will be near the Serpent Island , at the bottom of the sea,” the Armed Forces reported on Twitter in a message in which a video of the impact against the Russian ship can be seen.

Last month Ukraine already reported the sinking of the ‘Moskva’ missile boat, the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet. Russia maintains that the sinking of the ‘Moskva’ was due to an accidental fire that affected the ship’s ammunition.

Snake Island is located about 35 kilometers from the Ukrainian coast and has become one of the symbols of the Ukrainian resistance due to the refusal of the Ukrainian Border Guard military to surrender to the Russian forces at the beginning of the invasion.
