Ukrainian authorities have denounced on Tuesday the death of at least four people in a mortar attack executed by Russian forces against the village of Snigurivka, located in the Mikolaiv region.
The Southern Operational Command has indicated that the projectile has hit a residential building in the vicinity of the locality and criticized that “the occupants tried to accuse the Ukrainian Defense Forces.” “The units of the Armed Forces are too far away to reach (Snigurivka) with a mortar,” it has said.
Also, Ukrainian authorities have reported six wounded, including a child, in a cruise missile attack fired from the Black Sea on the town of Odeschina in the Odessa region (south), Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform has reported.
The war in Ukraine broke out on February 24 following the invasion order signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who days earlier had recognized the independence of the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk (east), the scene of an armed conflict since 2014.
