The Ukrainian Army has received this Friday a new supply of armament aid consisting of several long-range lazamissile systems model M270 MLRS.

As Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksei Reznikov reported in his social networks, the Ukrainian Army “has been replenished” with the arrival of this new armament, which will be “a good companion” for the HIMARS systems donated by the United States.

The minister thanked Ukraine’s foreign partners for sending the M270 MLRS, a self-propelled and armored multiple rocket launcher, and added that “there will be no mercy for the enemies.”

In early June, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace announced the allocation of M270s to Ukraine, capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 80 kilometers.

This decision by London was aligned with that also taken by Washington, which decided to provide the HIMARS high-mobility rocket artillery system, a variant of the MLRS.
