Local Ukrainian authorities have blamed Russia for the death of 56 people due to the impact of a projectile against a nursing home in the disputed Lugansk region, in the southeast of the country.

The incident occurred in the city of Kreminna, in the east of the country, when a Russian tank fired “cynically and deliberately” at the residence, according to the head of the Lugansk civil-military administration, Serhi Gaidai, on his page. From Facebook.

Gaidai has also denounced that 15 survivors of the attack have been “kidnapped by the occupation forces”, referring to Russia, and transferred to the town of Svatove.

“They just drove the tank, put it in front of the house and started shooting,” added the local official. Russia has not commented on this incident.

On the other hand, the authorities of the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk have accused the Ukrainian Army in recent hours of carrying out at least 32 bombings in the last hours that have left at least 19 civilians injured, according to a statement collected by the Russian agency TASS.
