Tiffany’s, one of the biggest names in luxury, is launching a series of NFTs. The jeweler hinted at its upcoming sale, which begins Aug. 5, by tweeting a video of a pixelated grid revealing : NFTiff.
The tweet also specified a price of 30 Ethereum (just over $51,000 at the current price).
The future is here and it’s called NFTiff.

An image shared by the influential NFT collector Cozomo de’ Medici referred to a description of NFTiffs that stated that the offering would be a series of digital and physical pendants, manufactured for Cryptopunk owners that would resemble the NFTs they already own.

The website linked to in the tweet states that the offering will be limited to 250 pieces. In March, Tiffany & Co. ventured into the NFT space for the first time by purchasing an Okapi NFT from Tom Sachs. The luxury retailer reportedly purchased the NFT for $380,000 and has since placed it as a company profile photo on Twitter.

The following month, the company launched TiffCoins, a limited edition gold coin series that debuted on April Fool’s Day. The solid gold coins were limited to a total of 499 in production and were individually engraved.
“No, we are not launching our own crypto-currency“, Tiffany & Co said on its website. “But these very real, limited edition 18k gold coins are a modern version of our Tiffany Money and a celebration of our history.“

In April, Tiffany & Co. also created a pendant for Alexandre Arnault, the company’s executive vice president of product and communications, featuring CryptoPunk #3167, which he owns. It was made of rose gold encrusted with sapphire, ruby and yellow diamond.

NFTiffs’ page has a statement at the bottom that it is “powered by chain,” a blockchain-based technology company founded in 2014 that has received funding from companies such as Capital One, Nasdaq and Visa.
