Three new books featuring the characters, quotes and video games of Warhammer – are coming out this year.

Warhammer is releasing three new encyclopedia-style books about the characters in Warhammer 40,000, the art of Warhammer video games and some of the most famous Space Marine quotes.

All three books were described in a Warhammer community post and are expected to be released later this year. The character encyclopedia features many of the biggest names from the grim distant future, in addition to a bit of background on them, details on their equipment and models, and more information from author Wade Pryce. Copies come with a free thumbnail of one of the 120 characters covered, but you’ll have to wait and see who you get.

The Art of Warhammer Video Games features concept art, screenshots and more from more than three decades of Warhammer video games, from Space Hulk to Space Marine II. Of course, it’s not just 40k covering video games, and other Warhammer universes will also be featured.

Words of War: The Miniature Book of Space Marine Quotes is the smallest book on the list, but it comes with plenty of cool quotes from the galaxy’s advanced super soldiers. From Primarchs to lieutenants, you’ll see a wide range of quotes from Space Marines in this pocket companion.

All three books are coming out later in the year.
