SQUARE ENIX announced “Final Fantasy Legacy“an exclusive temporary exhibition at the OXO Videogame Museum of Malagaa space dedicated to culture and innovation in digital entertainment and the historical legacy of video games. The temporary exhibition will open its doors to the public on September 15 at Oxo Museo del videojuego, located in Plaza del Siglo 2, in Malaga, and will last for several months.
OXO Videogame Museum of Malaga opened its doors at the beginning of 2023 with the aim of making known the artistic and technological legacy of the video game industry. Maintaining a unique space at the forefront of video games in Spain, sharing and educating in values through its individual exhibitions.
Visitors who come to the exhibition “The Legacy of Final Fantasy” will delve into the legacy of one of the most influential and beloved franchises in video game history. A series of game worlds that has captured the imagination and hearts of gamers around the world, sold over 180 million copies and recently released its latest installment, FINAL FANTASY XVIexclusively for PS5, offering a unique, next-generation gaming experience thanks to PlayStaion’s capabilities.
We can’t wait for people to come and experience this epic exhibition at the OXO Museo del Videojuego de Málaga. This exhibition will offer detailed details about the recently released Final Fantasy XVI with amazing visual effects, music, information, photo corner and much more. The temporary exhibition
The exhibition “The Legacy of Final Fantasy“which has the support of the Provincial Council of Malaga and the City of Malaga, will show the history and trajectory of the legendary FINAL FANTASY franchise, which began its global phenomenon in 1987.
There will be an area dedicated to exhibiting a wide range of cult and collector’s items from the franchise, which will give access to the. FINAL FANTASY XVI Zone. This area will be dominated by a central panel with biographies of the game’s creators and will offer a glimpse of the main characters of the game. FINAL FANTASY XVI.
Visitors will see a wealth of exclusive artwork, infographics and videos from the new, sixteenth installment, which will transport attendees to the realm of Valisthea, focusing on specific regions of the game world. Visitors will get a closer look at the characters representing the Eikons and will have the opportunity to better understand Valisthea’s most powerful and deadly creatures, the central elements of FINAL FANTASY XVI.
FINAL FANTASY VII full-scale replicas of Cloud’s Buster Sword and Barret’s Gatling Gun will be an added attraction for visitors attending an event with dedicated photo corners scattered throughout the exhibition.
Visitors will also have access to several game booths that will be available at the show. These will include the first three installments of FINAL FANTASY on the NES console, FINAL FANTASY IV, V y VI on SNES, FINAL FANTASY VII, VIII yIX on PlayStation, as well as, FINAL FANTASY X y XII on PlayStation 2, FINAL FANTASY XIII on PlayStation 3 and FINAL FANTASY XV on PlayStation 4.
