The best and cheapest electric cars: what subsidy do you have through the Rabla Plus program

Global registrations of electric cars increased by 38% in April 2022 compared to April 2021. Despite several disruptive factors that occurred simultaneously (invasion of Ukraine, Covid-19 lockdowns in China, lack of chips and batteries, supply chain disruptions), the truth is that last month there were 542,000 registrations, representing 10.2% share of the total car market (7% share of BEV).

Below, the models presented below are recommended for drivers who want to make the transition from a class B model, equipped with a conventional engine. It is important to mention that the biggest driving factor for the purchase of an electric one is the subsidy offered by the state, through the Rabla Plus program, whose value this year amounts to 51,000 lei, for scrapping an old car, respectively 54,000 lei, in exchange for scrapping two old cars.

Smart Fortwo EQ it has 82 hp, which allows it to reach 100 km / h in 11.6 seconds and run at a top speed of 130 km / h. The manufacturer promises a range of up to 135 km.
