Esports Business Live y HD Gaming have renewed their partnership agreement in the Canary Islands to host the 2nd edition of the ‘EBLive Awards` 2023the national esports industry awards given in recognition of the excellence, hard work and social activism of esports industry professionals. eSports in Spain. An event that in its last edition brought together more than 211 people and more than 5,000 spectators simultaneously in streaming in the framework of. ‘Tenerife GG`the largest festival in the Canary Islands dedicated to video games, esports and technology, and one of the most important in the country.

This 2nd edition starts loaded with great news, among them, the. territorial expansion of the call for prizes to the Principality of Andorra.the development of three on-site stops prior to the Awards Gala in Barcelona, Madrid and the Canary Islands.; the co-streaming coverage for the contest finalists.; or the increase in the number of nominations and categories.

The event will be endorsed by a jury of 80 professionals accredited industry professionals, who will ensure the transparency and integrity of the process, and who, together with The Academy, will be responsible for awarding this year’s prizes. 14 categories of the professional esports environment in Spain. Namely: publisher of the year award; best streaming platform award; best partnership agreement award; best innovative project award; entrepreneur of the year award; best specialized esports training award; esports team of the year award; industry benchmark brand award; best competition promoter award; and industry benchmark media award; best journalist of the year award; and best player, coach and caster of the year award.

In addition, the following will be awarded 7 awards (3 national and 4 territorial) to industry players offered by The Academy: recognition to inclusion and accessibility in the sector; to the promotion of female talent; to the public body most committed to esports in Spain; to the reference brand of the Canary Islands; to the best team of the islands; to the best player; and to the institution most committed to the industry in the archipelago.

The formal awards ceremony will be held as part of the festival of. Tenerife GGat the Chamber Hall of the Auditorio Adán Martín in Santa Cruz de Tenerife next Friday, July 14th.
