Gollum shown in new 4K RTX Gameplay trailer – That’s Gaming

The prospect of playing as Gollum in a Lord of the Rings game has attracted quite a bit of attention over the past few years, and after a long wait, Daedalic Entertainment’s stealth action-adventure title The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will finally be out soon to show what this experience will look like. Ahead of its release, Nvidia also provided a look at what the game will have to offer when you play it on PC.

On PC, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will launch with support for Nvidia DLSS 3 and RTX, and Nvidia has released a new trailer showing what kind of impact that will have on the visual aspects of the game. Featuring 4K footage with ray tracing enabled, the trailer hints at noticeable improvements in lighting, shadows, reflections and more. Check it out below to get a glimpse for yourself.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum recently went gold and will be released May 25 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development, but does not yet have a release date.
