Tekken 8 receives new trailer featuring Jack-8 – That’s Gaming

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Tekken 8, this time featuring gameplay footage of Jack-8. Check out the new trailer below.

The trailer shows Jack-8’s general gameplay style and also gives us a glimpse of some of the character’s new moves and combos for the upcoming fighting game.

Like older versions of the Jack character from previous Tekken games, Jack-8 appears to be a slower-paced character with a focus on heavy hits and short combos. The trailer also gives us a look at some of Jack-8’s special abilities, culminating in summoning a giant gun to finish a combo.

Earlier this week, Lars Alexandersson was revealed as a member of the Tekken 8 squad. A similar gameplay trailer was released for Lars, showing off some of his moveset and giving us an idea of his overall gameplay style.

Tekken 8 is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and will release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Although the game does not yet have a release date, it is expected to hit stores sometime before April 2024. Meanwhile, you can check out trailers for Jin, King, Nina, Kazuya, Paul and Marshall Law.
