One of the most famous moments from Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso+ series is how the AFC Richmond coach seemed to make a good impression on the team owner by bringing her home-baked shortbread cookies. If you’ve been watching the series and wondering if Ted is actually a good baker, you can now find out.
Mackenzie Limited has now announced an official batch of Ted Lasso Biscuits with the Boss, and while these cookies look authentic (even with AFC Richmond-themed packaging) and are undoubtedly very tasty, they are quite expensive for some usually cheap shortbread.
One box is said to sell for only $30, with two boxes costing nearly $50 and three boxes worth nearly $70. If you’re wondering what’s in each box, each box contains ten shortbread cookies, which means you’re paying about $3 for a single cookie!
The description of the cookies also suggests how they should be consumed: “We recommend serving these conversation-worthy cookies with the boss as Ted did, with caring optimism and an unwavering positive outlook.” Ted himself then added: “Cookies are like life. They are not always perfect, but they are always worth it.”
