French esports organization Team Vitality continued its dominance in the Counter-Strike 2 scene by winning the latest BLAST Rivals tournament. The team defeated Saudi organization Team Falcons in the Grand Final once again, a week after the squad defeated the same team at Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Melbourne.
Team Vitality’s victory marks the fifth consecutive tournament win for the organization, following IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 21, BLAST Open Rivals and IEM Melbourne. With the latest BLAST trophy, Team Vitality also brings its winning streak to an incredible 25 consecutive victories, the second longest in CS2 history.
The team also took home $125,000 in prize money and two Frequent Flyers Program (FFP) tokens, the revenue sharing program created by BLAST, which features an extra $2M combined prize pool shared among the teams. Vitality now leads the standings with six points, followed by Team Spirit with four.
According to data company Esports Charts, the Grand Final match was followed by more than 1M viewers, making it the second most watched BLAST event behind the BLAST Paris Major (1,528,724).
