A new year means a new Formula One-title from Codemasters. F1 25 will appear next month for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, and while much is new, it also marks the return of Braking Point. Watch the latest trailer below to learn more about the trials and tribulations of Konnersport.
The fictional team struggles against top teams, but the situation becomes chaotic due to a “dramatic event”. Details are not yet shared, but it appears that antagonist Devon Butler is experiencing a paradigm shift, which presents an opportunity for Callie Mayer (who previously won the F2 championship).
At Braking Point 3 the play experience and animations have been improved – for the first time you can choose which driver you drive. The difficulty levels have been rebalanced, “Meet the Press” promises to be more authentic, and facial animations have been improved thanks to Nvidia Audio2Face. Codemasters also promises a “complete experience.”, even if you have the previous Braking Point-campaigns haven’t played.
F1 25 is available at May 31, with the Iconic Edition pre-orders offering three days of early access and benefits for Lewis Hamilton, based on F1 The Movie.
