Split Fiction now available at a temporary discount – That’s Gaming

EA Originals and Hazelight Studios have announced that the co-op adventure game Split Fiction, one of the best rated games in 2025, is temporarily on sale for €39.99 (previously €49.99).

The Friend’s Pass, one of Hazelight Studios’ signature features, allows players to let a friend play along for free, even if that friend is Split Fiction does not own. Cross-play functionality allows friends to play along on a system of their choice. However, they must own an EA account to do so. At Split Fiction Players take on the roles of Mio and Zoe, two aspiring writers who make their way through breathtaking sci-fi and fantasy worlds from their own stories. Gradually, they discover all sorts of innovative gameplay mechanics, each requiring ultimate cooperation.

Split Fiction enjoyed a successful release with rave reviews and sold four million copies in its first month. Split Fiction has also been nominated for four awards, including Best Family Game and Best Multiplayer at “The Game Awards 2025.

Split Fiction is available for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and the EA app.
