The Black Prince – That’s Gaming

Following the official reveal of the game during Gamescom 2023, NACON and Artefacts Studio are pleased to release a new trailer that delves deeper into the game’s backstory. This video was exclusively unveiled at the PC Gaming Show on November 30.

The release date for Crown Wars: The Black Prince has been brought forward: the game will be released on March 7, 2024 for PC, PS5^™ and Xbox Series X|S.

Artefacts Studio, the developer of the highly rated The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos, with 88% positive reviews on Steam, is back with a new release that is sure to appeal to fans of tactical turn-based games.

In Crown Wars: The Black Prince delves the player into the Hundred Years’ War. A period when several royal families became embroiled in bloody conflicts, with the crown of the most powerful kingdom in the West as the prize. A new factor is in this struggle is formed by an evil with so much power that it can change history. It involves a secret, diabolical organization that, in its quest for power, is plunging the entire kingdom into chaos.

In these dark times, you are a young lord from one of four families. Each of these families has specific skills and a history that is revealed as the game progresses. With the help of the mysterious alchemist Nicolas Flamel, you must restore your land to its former glory and lead the battle against the knights and bandits of The Order, the dark power behind the reign of terror. To free the kingdom from invasion and evil, you must assemble and train squadrons from the six classes of soldiers available in the game. As the last hope of the Brotherhood of Light, the war is lost without you.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince will be released on March 7, 2024 for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Nintendo Switch™ version will be available shortly thereafter.
