Spanish tourist dies after falling from a height of ten meters in West Bank

A Spanish tourist died on Friday in the West Bank after falling from a height of ten meters during a visit to the Mar Saba monastery, sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation have confirmed to Europa Press.

These sources have indicated that the ministry is in contact with the family to provide consular assistance after the incident, which took place in the vicinity of Mar Saba, a Greek Orthodox monastery located between the city of Bethlehem and the Dead Sea, as reported by the Israeli newspaper ‘The Jerusalem Post’.
