SkyShowtime streaming service launches in Romania. It comes with the new Top Gun on offer, at a very attractive monthly price

A new streaming service, SkyShowtime, is launching this month in Romania. It has been confirmed for availability since last year, around the time of the Disney+ launch, but only now has an official launch date: 14 February. It comes with a very advantageous price for the Romanian market, being among the cheapest of those currently available. It also includes local films, series and original productions from many international film studios and TV programmes.

SkyShowtime will offer a wide selection of films and series found in other regions on several separate platforms

SkyShowtime’s movie and series offerings will include Universal Pictures productions, Paramount Pictures, children’s movies and series from Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation, and original productions from streaming services such as Paramount+, Showtime, Sky Studios and Peacock that are available in other countries separately. Those who missed some of the HBO Max original productions, which were launched last year and suddenly removed from the service, will find them back in the SkyShowtime offering under the SkyShowtime Originals banner.

  • Downton Abbey: A New Era
  • Jerry and Marge Go Large
  • Ray Donovan: The Movie
  • Redeeming Love
