“Shiba Eternity”, the game that wants to revolutionize the world of crypto gaming

This article summarizes everything that has been revealed so far by the Shiba Inu ($SHIB) team about their upcoming card game, which is called “Shiba Eternity”.

On November 27, 2021, Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudo-leader of the Shiba Inu project explained how the team is preparing to make a very impressive entry into the gaming world.

In a Medium blog post titled “The Future of Gaming Is Shib“, Shytoshi began by saying that, although he could not provide information “exact” about the game his team is building (due to concerns about how quickly others would try to steal the concept), he revealed that their new games division – Shiba Inu games – has hired video game designer and developer William David Volk to lead the design and implementation of the game, which is being developed by a “AAA Game Studio“.

William David Volk – former VP of Technology at Activision – who states on his LinkedIn page that he has been freelancing for Shiba Inu Games since the beginning of the month, said:

“I am honored to be working with an amazing team on what will become one of the most important games of all time.“

Shytoshi noted that this “would provide unique opportunities within the Shiba Inu ecosystem ($SHIB, $LEASH & $BONE), while Shiba Inu Games remains completely separate from this business“. In addition, he pointed out that “Shiba Inu Games’ in-app purchase revenue also provides opportunities for Shib & Leash burns“.

On the same day, the Shiba Inu team revealed several important details about the upcoming game, namely that Shiba Enternity is a collectible card game (CCG) that is being developed in collaboration with world-renowned AAA game development studio PlaySide Studios. This game will be released on both iOS and Android.

” A collectible card game (CCG), also called a trading card game (TCG) among other names, is a type of card game that mixes strategic deck-building elements with trading card features, introduced with Magic: The Gathering in 1993….“

“Typically, a player can begin playing a CCJ with a pre-set starting deck, and then customize his or her deck with a random assortment of cards acquired from booster packs or trades with other players, to build up his or her own library of cards. As a player obtains more cards, they can create new decks from their library.“
