Saponjic leaves Atlético and signs for Slovan Bratislava

MADRID, Jan. 23 (Royals Blue) –

Serbian striker Ivan Saponjic will leave Atlético de Madrid and will play for Slovan Bratislava in Slovakia, the rojiblanco club has confirmed after both parties reached an agreement to terminate the player’s contract.

“Ivan Saponjic and our club have reached an agreement to terminate the contract that linked both parties since July 2019,” the mattress entity announced.

The Balkan striker arrived at Atlético from Benfica in 2019 and was part of the red and white squad that was proclaimed champion of LaLiga Santander last season. In 20212 he was also on loan at Cádiz.
