RLCS Spring Major and World Championship Dates

Psyonixdeveloper of Rocket Leaguehas announced the dates and venues for the upcoming RLCS Spring Major and RLCS World Championship. Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) is the main esports circuit of Rocket League. It features three major international tournaments, the last of which is the Spring Major, which help qualify for the season-ending World Championship.

The Boston RLCS Spring Major will be held from July 6 to 9 at the Agganis Arena.with a prize money of $310.000. For its part, the main event of the RLCS World Championship at Düsseldorf will be held from August 8 to 13with a prize of $2,1M. In addition, this main event will be preceded by a Wildcard phase to be held from August 3 to 6. Psyonix has not yet released more details about the upcoming events.

The last World Championship took place in August 2022 in Fort Worth, USA, and was won by Team BDS. RLCS offline events usually alternate between Europe and the United States. Details of the Major and World Championship were announced during the Winter Major, which ended on April 10.

RLCS underwent a large-scale expansion in 2021 that made Rocket League a truly global esport. In 2022, several changes were made to the game’s competitive ecosystem to expand the circuit. In addition, RLCS events have been supported by renowned brands such as 7Eleven and Ford, among others.
