Race on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit and play EA SPORTS F1 23 for free next weekend – That’s Gaming

Electronic Arts Inc. presents a “Free to Play” weekend in honor of the inaugural FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2023. F1 23 has raised the bar and prepared a series of activities and challenges both in and out of the game for fans to enjoy. Players can lay down rubber on the famous Las Vegas Strip, challenge Charles Leclerc’s fastest lap, unlock new #LasVegasGP-themed rewards and more. Scuderia AlphaTauri driver Daniel Ricciardo, EA SPORTS Ambassador Max Verstappen and British boxing champion Anthony Joshua also join in and take part in the activities in F1 23.

From Nov. 16 to Nov. 20, players around the world have the opportunity to experience the stunning Las Vegas Grand Prix Circuit and play F1 23 for free on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam). Those who race in-game during the weekend will earn double XP in various game modes and other rewards. New players looking to purchase the game can get special price offers of up to 60% off at platform retailers during those dates. All in-game progress and unlocked content will be saved from the trial version.

To add to the excitement, EA SPORTS will host a star-studded event at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas. The event will bring together big names from sports, gaming and beyond to launch the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2023 weekend. Check out the official Formula 1 YouTube channel on Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. PT to watch it. The full list of athletes and talents participating will be announced Nov. 13 on F1 23’s social media channels.

Daniel Ricciardo has shared his excitement for the race and outlined the situation in a new video in which he gets a first look at the new American track. On Nov. 17, you will also get a sneak peek of how Max Verstappen prepares for the new track as the three-time world champion leads boxing superstar Anthony Joshua through the streets of Vegas in F1 23.

“Las Vegas is an iconic location that encompasses one of the most famous stretches of asphalt in the world,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “I have enjoyed watching the team build such a stunning virtual recreation of the vibrancy and energy of the Strip. We are honored to bring this new track to F1 23 so players everywhere can enjoy it prior to the Grand Prix in the real world, and we hope everyone has as much fun as Daniel Ricciardo when they engage Sin City in-game this week.”

Celebrations in F1 23 will begin before the weekend for those excited to race the boulevard. From Nov. 14-20, the game will feature several in-game events, including a new Las Vegas “Pro Challenge” with Charles Leclerc† and an “F1 World” Scenario Event with Lewis Hamilton. EA SPORTS will also offer a series of in-game items developed in conjunction with the Las Vegas Grand Prix, free‡. To obtain these, players must log in to the game daily from Nov. 16 to Nov. 18 and check their inbox.

In addition, from Nov. 20 to Dec. 11‡ players can experience the thrill of racing Ferrari’s recently unveiled Golden Era car livery, paying homage to Formula One’s first “golden era” in America.
