Porsche has shared a lot of details about how its new Taycan models are better than their predecessors.
The new cars deliver much better performance, and this includes both a better range of between 503 km and 821 km, depending on the situation, and a much faster 0-100 km/h acceleration that comes down to just 4.8 seconds. By comparison, this is 0.6 seconds faster than the previous Taycan and 0.4 seconds faster than the previous Taycan Turbo.
This performance also comes on top of a faster charge time, increased charge capacity, an updated suspension, lower body weight and a new look with new headlights and taillights, plus a different front wing.
The interior infotainment package has also been improved to better integrate Apple Car Play now and pave the way for using the center display and passenger display to stream video.
Porsche has not yet put a price on these new Taycan models, but we are told they will arrive in Porsche garages starting in the spring of 2024.
