In recent weeks, we’ve seen a few different automakers announce plans to incorporate ChatGPT into their cars. Now another is joining this craze, as Peugeot has revealed that it will make its i-Cockpit even smarter using AI.
ChatGPT integration includes a voice assistant that can be activated by simply saying “Ok Peugeot,” and is capable of answering a series of passenger driver questions. This includes the ability to guide the driver to a destination using navigation elements.
The ChatGPT features will originally debut as a pilot system before being widely released later in the year.
This is all on top of Peugeot confirming its plans for its upcoming electric fleet. We are told that the French company will introduce two new EV models this year, the E-408 and the E-5008, which, when added to the other EVs, will ensure that Peugeot offers the largest electric range of any mainstream European manufacturer.
