Pearl Abyss marked a decade of Black Desert during Calpheon Ball, a global community event held last weekend at the Suwon Messe in South Korea. The live-streamed celebration revealed the next wave of game updates and expansions, along with the long-awaited 29th class, Deadeye, coming out on Dec. 24.
Deadeye, the 29th class to join Black Desert, brings a Wild West-inspired aesthetic. Armed with revolvers, a shotgun and a rocket launcher named Lil’ Devil, Deadeye combines rapid fire combat with a gripping backstory. Originating from New Victoria on parallel Earth, she traverses the Black Desert universe via the experiments of Earth’s Marni. Deadeye expands knowledge and adds new, dynamic gameplay. Access begins on Dec. 20 via Global Lab, with the official launch on Dec. 24.
