Palestinian killed in shooting attack in northern Israel

A 24-year-old Palestinian has been killed overnight Friday in a shooting in the village of Deir Hanna, located in the hills of the Lower Galilee in northern Israel.

At around 9:44 p.m., emergency services were alerted to the incident and, upon arrival at the scene of the shooting, counted up to 16 gunshot wounds to the young man’s body, according to Police reports accessed by ‘The Jerusalem Post’.

He was later transferred to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

With this murder, the number of people belonging to Arab society killed “as a result of crime” so far this year has risen to 79, according to the Palestinian agency WAFA.
