It seems that the images I received last week, in which I partially saw the back of an Oppo Find X5 Pro phone, were real, as two other images with this model appeared. Not only do they all have the same shape on the back, with an unusually shaped, embossed camera, but they all have the same inscriptions on the back, including the logo of camera manufacturer Hasselblad, which seems to be the partner for the cameras. on the Find X5 Pro.
Find X5 Pro will use Hasselblad cameras
The first image with the Find X5 Pro featured a glossy white case. I found out in the meantime that that color is called “Ceramic White”, but it’s not clear if the phone is really made of ceramic, or just glass. Now we have images with two other colors, one silver and one blue, both with a very glossy surface. We can now assume that these phones will be immediately filled with fingerprints, and the extremely curved edges and the camera module will shock these traces in the reflections.
The camera seems to house two large sensors, along with a smaller secondary sensor, as well as a color sensor, in addition to the LED flash. The inscriptions on the camera suggest that this will be one of the first Oppo models equipped with the new proprietary image processor, MariSilicon. The company believes that it will offer better photo processing than the one integrated in the processor.
The hardware configuration includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Pro storage. The “standard” model will most likely use a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, the first officially announced processor with 4nm architecture. Meanwhile, both Qualcomm and Samsung have announced similar models.
The launch of the Oppo Find X5 Pro is expected in February, but we may see the phones first in China and then in Europe, after seeing the same strategy applied to the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro.
