OnePlus prepares E24 and X27, new monitors for PC gamimg

Known more for its smartphone offering, OnePlus is also preparing its entry into the gaming monitor market, with the OnePlus E24 and X27 coming to compete with similar products from Xiaomi, Asus and other names better known to PC users.

The OnePlus X27 will be the flagship model, shipping with a 27-inch WQHD display supporting an image refresh rate of 165 Hz. The IPS-based LCD screen will support the DisplayHDR 400 standard and is supported on a height and tilt adjustable stand. Being the product of a mobile phone brand, the list of features is completed with a USB-C port offering 65W fast charging, to devices compatible with the SuperVOOC standard.

Recommended more for productivity tasks, the OnePlus E24 comes with a 24-inch FHD display and 75 Hz refresh rate. The list of office-oriented features includes low-blue light function for improved eye comfort and aluminium feet without height adjustment option. Also present on the E24, the USB-C port offers 18W fast charging only.

Expected first on the Indian market, the new OnePlus X27 and E24 monitors will be priced up to $340 for the top-of-the-line X27, a level at which there are already plenty of alternatives with at least comparable performance and features. At the moment, OnePlus is not confirming plans to bring the new gaming monitor offering to Western markets as well.
