OnePlus’ mid-range Nord series of devices will reach its third generation this year. With the help of these devices, Oppo’s secondary brand has managed to significantly increase the number of units sold, offering phones at significantly more affordable prices and equipped with quite high-performance components. It looks like the OnePlus Nord 3 could represent yet another performance leap for these models, if the leaked specs on the internet turn out to be true.
OnePlus Nord 3 expected to be officially announced in the coming months
A list of hardware features for the OnePlus Nord 3 has hit the internet, and the source is a “leaker” who doesn’t have much experience in this area. In fact, Debayan Roy, or “Gadgetsdata” as he’s known on Twitter, doesn’t even have a finalized spec list. He leaves some of the components open to question, as they don’t seem to be finalized.
Roy says the OnePlus Nord 3 will ship with a large 6.5″ AMOLED display at 120Hz and Full HD+ resolution, something we’ve grown accustomed to seeing even on flagships, not just mid-range models. Then, this model will use a triple camera system, but usual for the mid-range: 50 megapixels with optical stabilization on the main camera, an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, and a third “useless” camera, which could be either a depth camera or a macro camera.
OnePlus Nord 3 Specifications (rumoured):
– 6.5″ FHD+ 120Hz Amoled
– 50MP OIS + 8MP + Useless
– 32MP selfie
– 100W charging
– 4500mAh or 5000 mAh battery
– Mediatek Dimensity 8100 Max or Dimensity 8200There is a leak saying it’ll have 1.5K display, that is not correct

The front camera will offer 32 megapixel resolution, while the processor could be a MediaTek one. Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether it will be last year’s Dimensity 8100 MAX model, or the newer Dimensity 8200 model. Either way, the phone should be quite capable compared to other mid-range models.
The final unknown would be the battery, which could be either 4,500 or 5,000 mAh, charging at 100W. Thus, this could be one of the fastest charging mid-range models on the market.
OnePlus usually announces the North models through the spring, so it will be a few more months before we get official word on these products.
