Nissan unveils new Leaf described as the “EV for everyone” -.

Nissan is looking to build on its lineup of Leaf electric vehicles by now unveiling a brand new model claimed to be an “EV for everyone.” is. The car is described as an “family-friendly” model with a “bold, sleek, thoughtful, responsive, smooth and confident” design, as well as a car that is a “attractive alternative” is for those who want to leave internal combustion engines behind.

The Leaf is available in several options starting with a 52 kWh battery that can be expanded to 75 kWh. The lower option offers 130 kW and 345 Nm of torque, while the larger one targets 160 kW and 355 Nm. The larger also claims to offer a range of up to 303 miles on a single charge, with 10-80% fast charging systems enabled as well.

Inside the Leaf is a new infotainment suite with a dual 12.3-inch or dual 14.3-inch screen system, in addition to Bose speakers and a Dimming Panoramic Roof that allows passengers to experience natural light year-round.

This Leaf will be built in Japan at the Tochigi Plant and in England at the Sunderland plant, and we are promised more information on pricing as the car’s launch date in each respective market approaches, including fall in the U.S. and others thereafter.
