Small Impact Games and Team17 Digital today announced the fourth major free content update for the Steam Early Access shooter Marauders, called “Plunder,” which was released last week. In the new update, players can participate in a brand new game mode focused entirely on solo play, where six other players, disguised as looters, begin the game with basic equipment and must use their time crucially while searching for new loot while keeping an eye on their remaining oxygen.
The new mode also introduces the ability for players to earn XP through PVP kills, but also adds an all-new enemy to the standard mode, “The Bandit,” a loot goblin that players can follow to general loot spots within certain raid locations, such as Spaceport, Mining Frigate, Terraformer and Asteroid Mine.
