Netflix continues to add games to the mobile app, now offering the first two additions to the service’s debut. Those who use Netflix on iOS or Android will now be able to download Arcanium: Rise of Akhan and Krispee Street titles for free, based on their subscription. These are paid games that you can download and play if you have an active Netflix subscription.
12 games are now available based on the Netflix subscription
Initially, Netflix offered subscription-based access to several Stranger Things games and some simplistic arcade titles. This was just the beginning, as the company’s ambitions are to provide the best gaming experience possible for its subscribers. The advantage of Netflix is that it does not charge games separately from the standard subscription for movies and series, but offers them as an added bonus.
Arcanium: Rise of Akhan is a card game strategy game, not much different from titles like Heartstone from Blizzard. The difference is that it offers a single-player gaming experience, in a rogue-like style. This assures players that each game session will be unique and will provide many hours of gameplay.
Krispee Street is instead a puzzle game, in which the player will have to find various objects through the levels. This is a licensed game based on a series of comics.
With these two games, Netflix reaches the number of 12 titles it offers to its subscribers in the mobile application. Here is the full list:
- Bowling Ballers
- Shooting Hoops
- Teeter Up
- Asphalt Xtreme
- Stranger Things 1984
- Stranger Things 3
- Card Blast
- Dominos Cafe
- Wonderputt Forever
- Knittens
- Arcanium: Rise of Akhan
- Krispee Street
To access the games for free, you need to be redirected to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store in the Netflix application. Those looking for games directly in the store offer will have to pay individually for each one.
