NATO Secretary General discusses “sabotage” of gas pipelines with Danish Prime Minister

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg met Saturday in Brussels with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to discuss the “sabotage” of the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

“NATO allies will continue their close cooperation on resilience and critical infrastructure protection (…) in the face of the sabotage of Nord Stream pipelines,” Stoltenberg said on Twitter. Stoltenberg also thanked Fredriksen for “Denmark’s key contributions in Ukraine at this crucial time.”

Frederiksen has meanwhile posted on Twitter that hant ratado “the serious situation in the Baltic Sea and cooperation to ensure the security of critical infrastructure.”

Frederiksen was in London earlier Saturday where he met with British Prime Minister Liz Truss and is scheduled to meet with European Council President Charles Michel.
