With the Moto G52 announced last month, Motorola is now preparing the Moto G82, a slightly better equipped smartphone, a possible rival for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
Developed under the code name Rhode 5G +, the new Moto G series model comes with the Snapdragon 695 chipset (two cores at 2.2GHz + six cores at 1.7GHz) and will be available in three variants: 4GB / 128GB, 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB. Framed in the upper mid-range range, the Moto G82 will have a 120Hz pOLED display with Full HD + resolution spread over a 6.55-inch diagonal. The phone offers a screen-to-case ratio of 88%, slightly below the average of other models equipped with OLED technology.
The photo arrangement is divided between a triple-camera system with 50MP main sensor and OIS stabilization, respectively 16MP front camera. On the back of the phone we find an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
The configuration is supported by a 5000 mAh battery, capable of fast charging up to 33W power (0-100% battery in about an hour).
The list of features is completed with 5G connectivity, 3.5 mm jack headphone output and Power fingerprint / key sensor mounted on the side frame. The plastic-finished housing at the back has IP52 certification for water and dust protection. The phone comes with Android 12 pre-installed.
Unfortunately for pricing and availability we will have to wait for the official launch announcement.
