Motorola has already unveiled its Edge 2022 range of phones, with the event scheduled for September 8 most likely dedicated to the Edge 30 Ultra series, the company’s new flagship.
Launched in July, the Motorola Edge 30 is a high-performance, very slim and sleek mid-range, with the Ultra version taking the specs even higher.
According to information extracted from an official video teaser leaked on the internet by famous rumour source Evan Blass, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features a state-of-the-art pOLED display at its heart, perforated to the right of the front camera and with slightly curved edges on the sides. Most likely, it’s the same 6.7″ diagonal screen with 144Hz refresh rate found on the X30 Pro series already launched for the Chinese market.
The configuration is built around the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is helped with a battery of unspecified capacity, capable of providing all-day battery life with only 7 minutes of fast charging at 120W power via USB-C. The camera setup is a triple-camera setup, with a 200MP main sensor. If the similarities to the X30 Pro hold true, then we’ll also encounter a 50MP ultrawide camera, 12MP optical zoom camera and a 60MP front camera.
