The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has issued a warning for people with milk protein allergy. In this case, the health alert is about the ‘Artisan almond pastes‘ from the food company ‘White Products’.

The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition has become aware through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI) of an alert notification sent by the health authorities of Asturias, regarding the presence of milk proteins. not included in the labeling in these artisan almond pastes.

For this reason, the AESAN recommends those people with. allergy to milk proteins to refrain from consuming this product of the brand name ‘Productos Blanco’, based in Gijón (Asturias). It also reminds that these pastes do not pose any risk for the rest of the non-allergic population.

According to the information available, the initial distribution of the affected lot -number 22123- has been to the Autonomous Communities of Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha and Ceuta..

This information has been transferred to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI), with the aim of verifying the withdrawal of the affected products from marketing channels.
