Menarini’s continuing medical education in a single website

One of Menarini’s major commitments throughout its more than 50 years of presence in Spain is the. continuous training of healthcare professionals. Since its birth in 1990 and throughout these more than 30 years of work, Menarini Scientific Area has given more than 21,000 activities, in which more than 32,500 speakers have participated and another 545,000 professionals have been able to broaden their knowledge.

A work that has also been awarded on numerous occasions, thanks to the. constant collaboration with scientific societies, health professional associations, academies of medical sciences, universities, health centers, hospitals and health administrations.

In this line of commitment to the continuous improvement of the training and information of professionals in the Spanish healthcare sector, Área Científica Menarini has also been able to adapt to new times and circumstances and, in this sense, its training methods have also undergone changes in favor of a virtual training.

With the firm objective of continuing to contribute to improving the knowledge of healthcare professionals in our country, Área Científica Menarini has launched the new a new space web, a portal with its own identity, outside the company’s corporate site and which has incorporated a new virtual partner, Neitha chatbot with which the user can interact and whose objective is to facilitate navigation and content search. In addition, the various digital tools available in this new space will enable healthcare professionals to familiarize themselves with and improve their digital skills.

Among the contents available in this new portal include courses and conferences. in the different therapeutic areas of the company (allergy, digestive system, pain, diabetes, gout, respiratory system, cardiovascular health and male sexual health), scientific training materials in different formats, information on masters, postgraduate courses, congresses, symposiums and webinars, as well as different resources and health tips in its reference health areas.

In addition to all this, there is a practical diary servicethrough which to locate and consult training events in different specialties, an interesting virtual library with content on Covid-19 and, in line with digital health, different medical APPs that professionals can use to improve adherence to treatments and communication with their patients, obtain information on scientific events of interest, or the clinical assessment and follow-up of certain pathologies.
