If you have been looking for a new car but are interested in trading off family-friendly functionality for track-level performance, McMurty may have the solution for you. As announced in a new press release, the automaker will unveil a successor to its McMurtry Spéirling car at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
This car, known as the McMurtry Spéirling PURE, will actually be commercially available when it debuts, and is said to weigh less than a ton, have a top speed of 190 mph, peak power of 1,000 hp, all while offering access to the car company’s patented downforce-on-demand fan system.
McMurty has stated that pre-production prototypes of the Spéirling PURE will arrive in 2024 and final production models will be limited to just 100 models and delivered in 2025. As for how much a McMurtry Spéirling PURE will sell for, the car will clock in at least £820,000.
